Mitigant GmbH and Future Spirits Co. Ltd. Agree to Collaborate on Supporting Mitigant's Expansion into Japanese Market

Mitigant GmbH (Headquarters: Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany; CEO: Nils Karn; hereinafter "Mitigant") and Future Spirits Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto, Japan; CEO: Dai Tanitaka; hereinafter "Future Spirits") are pleased to announce their agreement to collaborate on supporting Mitigant's market entry into Japan on the 24th April, 2025.

Mitigant's Expansion into Japan

Mitigant has chosen Japan as its expansion destination due to several factors, including Japan's position as one of the world's top five economies, high demand for cybersecurity among enterprises, intense awareness of information security among companies, and the market's rapid growth.   

"Unfortunately, there is also a reality that Japan is being targeted by cyberattacks from all over the world. Considering these factors comprehensively, Mitigant decided it can provide high value to large enterprises in Japan. Enterprise customers will be able to use our services to validate their cloud security strategies and cloud environment configurations, and to discover security blind spots," said Nils Karn, CEO of Mitigant.   

Future Spirits will support Mitigant in providing high-level cloud security services in Japan. This includes sales and communication assistance to companies interested in Mitigant's services. Future Spirits aims to build a deeper collaborative relationship with Mitigant as its services penetrate the Japanese market. 

Both Future Spirits and Mitigant have been exhibiting at Japan IT Week Spring at Tokyo Big Sight from April 23 to 25, 2025. On April 24th, 2025, the two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreement at the exhibition to formalize their initial agreement for developing the Japanese market.
