How Digital Operational Resilience Act Regulation Affects The Cloud Landscape in Europe

About The Webinar
The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is an EU regulation that affects the financial entities located and operating in Europe, such as banks, insurance companies, and investment firms, starting in 17 January 2025. It aims to strengthening the financial sector to be more secure and resilient due to rapidly increasing and evolving cyber threats targeting the financial sectors as they are increasingly dependent on technology services for delivering their financial services.
As more European financial organizations are adopting cloud-native infrastructures for their data and services to be more scalable, fast-moving, and cost-saving than typical on-premise infrastructure, the DORA regulation requires the affected entities to ensure their clouds are secure, compliant, and resilient against potential cyber threats. However, many organizations have various challenges to achieve the DORA regulation's objectives and guidelines set for the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) aspects.
The Mitigant x Advisori webinar by Kennedy Torkura (Mitigant Chief Technology Officer) and Vasileios Sofroni (Advisori Senior Digital Transformation Consultant) will focus on the challenges and effects of the DORA regulation for the financial organizations related to European cloud landscape. Learn how to achieve security and cyber resilience for cloud-native infrastructures while complying with the DORA regulation.
